The concept and vision behind my photography is to portray the world in its form of simplistic beauty and remove the complexity of stiffly posed positions and carefully planned scenes as life is most beautiful in its fluidity and movements. My style ranges from landscape, events, and the candidness of people.
I am a designer, photographer, and artist. I received an Associates's for Studio Art at Santa Barbara City College. I am a graduate of California Polytechnic State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an Emphasis in Graphic Design. I am based in San Diego, CA.
When I was young, I always excelled in art, and at the age of 14 began designing graphics and built a website that housed coding layouts and graphics for Myspace profiles. While doing this, I also grew a great interest in photography. My family had a few film cameras, I then acquired a sony point in-shoot at 13. A few years later, I had taken my first photo class sophomore year of high school and started on a Canon Rebel. I then bought my first DSLR Nikon D3000 camera. I continued this passion through college taking as many photo classes as I could and learning Lightroom and over time gaining 14 years of experience in Photoshop. I was a Photoshop tutor at Santa Barbara City College. I have today quite a few film cameras, a Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark II, Nikon D52000, and a Nikon Z50.
Today I love to shoot editorial/fashion or conceptual shoots. I also love to do event photography and nature/landscape photography. I freelance my photoshoots. I occasionally do FTP shoots. Most of my models pictured are close friends, a few are models, and lastly, the rest are clientele.
